The problem we kept hitting
Google Translate pastes raw text. DeepL loses your slides. Every commercial translation service returns a plain-text dump that forces someone — usually you — to spend hours re-pasting content back into the original deck or document.
We hit this wall repeatedly while translating investor decks, product specs, and training materials for clients in Southeast Asia.
On one deck we translated ourselves:

That ratio made no sense.
So we built Vernacia. The core insight was simple: the translation engine should operate on the document's internal structure — XML, not rendered text — so fonts, colours, layouts, tables, and images come through untouched. The translated file looks like it was designed that way from the start.
We launched with PowerPoint because that is where the pain was sharpest. We now support 14 formats because the same problem exists everywhere documents are used for business.

Privacy-first
Files are deleted 30 days after job completion. We never use your documents to train AI models. No human reads your content.

We default to our Standard quality tier for speed and cost. Enterprise customers get our Precision tier — the highest-quality option available — for maximum fidelity.
Developer-friendly
Every feature is available via REST API. Bring translation into your CI pipeline, content workflow, or internal tooling without touching the UI.
Honest limits
AI translation is very good. It is not perfect. We tell you that clearly rather than overselling. Use our quality scores and review flags for anything high-stakes.

Built by engineers who got frustrated
Vernacia is a product of CloudServe Digital, a division of CloudServe Infotech (RAMSIO CLOUDSERVE INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN: U62091KA2025PTC210162), an independent software company headquartered in Bengaluru, India. The CloudServe Digital division builds enterprise cloud solutions and digital transformation products for businesses that operate across borders — including localisation pipelines, multilingual content management, and document translation.
Founded by Santhosh Suryavanshi (Co-Founder & CEO) and Revathi Alageshan (Co-Founder & Director), we are a small, founder-owned team. We use Vernacia ourselves every week. When something is broken or slow or confusing, we feel it directly. That is the best quality-control mechanism we know of.
We are not a translation agency. We do not have teams of human translators. We are engineers who believe AI translation, done carefully with the right tooling around it, is now good enough for the vast majority of business documents — and getting better fast.
